So you need a DJ. Who will you hire? You have to make sure that you will get what you want, and that you won't pay a fortune for it. You have to know that the DJ will listen to you and run the event exactly as you want it to be run, without changing things at the last minute just because he's always done them "his way". For most DJs, it's easy enough to hit some buttons and get a song to play, to which someone else can sing. Not all karaoke DJs accommodate special requests by the singer, and that is a recipe for disaster.
